What Episode Does Pam Announce Shes Pregnant Again?
Break out the blue cigars: Pam Halpert had her baby, patently.
I know this non because of whatever mention on the prove, simply instead a blog mail service that went upwardly last night on the show'southward official website. "He'southward Here!" the blog proclaims. "Information technology'south official! I've said goodbye to my lovely lady crash-land, and how-do-you-do to baby Philip Halpert!!!" You can read the total announcement on the fun baby web log (complete with a photo of baby Halpert).
I'd honey to know who is responsible for the blog. It's but as full of corny Mom jokes equally real-life Mommy blogs. The same announcement entry reads, "When we brought Philip abode, Cece was overwhelmed with emotion. First she threw her Vtech at the wall and started crying, but then all she wanted to do was be virtually him. It was pretty adorable. Now I merely need to go her to be able to say "Philip" instead of "Pull-Upwardly" so I'yard not instinctively rushing to her side with Huggies every time :)"
I'm thrilled to hear that all is well and good for America'south favorite fictional couple, merely you wouldn't know information technology unless you were creepily invested in the testify, and were reading up on their latest on the baby blog (AKA you're me).
As a regular viewer, there was no mention on the show of her giving birth or being on exit. Pam merely wasn't there one 24-hour interval, and her replacement Kathy just started working with Dwight and Jim. At present, obviously, anyone could assume that she had the kid and started her maternity leave, but didn't you lot find it a little odd that information technology wasn't mentioned? Couldn't Jim give a quick 'new dad' update to the photographic camera or beau mommyhoped-for Angela say a last snarky annotate?
I'm not asking for the full hospital storyline that we got when Cece was born. In fact, the less characters that are in hospitals on sitcoms, the ameliorate. Information technology never ends well. (See: Friends.) Graphic birth scenes on TV just make me uncomfortable. But I was hoping for a piddling something. I know the show doesn't capture every little affair these characters do. But a baby? Surely that warrants a mention. Are yous telling me that Scranton's favorite political party planning committee actually didn't rush over some balloons or cake?
At showtime it didn't carp me much, but final night's mid-season finale Christmas episode would have been an platonic time to give viewers some kind of news. Cece was even role of the plot — Jim defaced a photograph of her to try and blame Dwight. What virtually Philip, Jim? Where's his defaced photograph on your desk?
PopWatchers: Are you every bit dislocated as I am? Tin we presume Jenna Fischer's real-life pregnancy probably had something to exercise with the quick disappearance? What other current shows take unresolved mysteries that are bugging y'all?
